Pijn onderaan de voet in zomerschoenen? Als het vetkussentje van de voetzool, ons natuurlijk kussentje, dunner is geworden en niet meer zijn rol kan vervullen om de druk te verdelen, voelt men pijn en een branderig gevoel. Dit gaat vaak gepaard met eelt onderaan de voet, een likdoorn, een eeltlaag. Door tussen de zool en de voet een herstellende gel aan te brengen die de druk verdeelt, zoals Epithelium 26®, wordt de pijn verlicht en de vorming van hyperkeratose vertraagd. In open schoenen is de doelstelling om een zo discreet mogelijke bescherming te hebben: dit is wat de discrete kussentjes EPITACT® opmerkelijk goed doen.
  • EPITHELIUM 26® is een door voetspecialisten gepatenteerde siliconengel. Zijn visco-elastische en mechanische eigenschappen zijn verwant aan die van de onderhuidse weefsels. De gel verdeelt het lichaamsgewicht over de gehele steunzone en vervangt de verzwakte natuurlijke voetzoolkussentjes.
  • De discrete kussentjes worden efficiënt op hun plaats gehouden door een zelfklever.

Gebruiksaanwijzing

• Zorg voor rechtstreeks contact tussen huid en zool voor optimaal comfort (behalve bij een onbeschermde wond).
• Bepaal van te voren de rechter- en linkervoet. Ga hiervoor voor de twee zolen staan: de bedrukte stof met het opschrift Epithelium 26® moet met de goede zijde naar boven wijzen. Leg de zolen naast elkaar en controleer of deze goed liggen (de rechterzool rechts en de linker links); aan de onderkant moet zich een driehoekige ruimte vormen (zie hiernaast). Als dit niet klopt, verwissel dan de zolen.
• Verwijder de dubbelzijdige, zelfklevende beschermingsfolie van de achterkant van de zolen.
• Plaats de zolen in uw schoenen, met het breedste deel naar voren. De zolen liggen dan een beetje dwars, zoals aangegeven op de foto hiernaast.
