Warm klimaat met een Mediterraans regenregime met een groot verschil tussen dag-en nachttemperaturen. Dit komt doordat de Stille Oceaan en het Andes gebergte vlakbij gelegen zijn.

Ondergrond
Diepe, zanderige en erg rotsachtig lemige ondergrond.

Vinificatie
Fermentatie wordt gestart met actieve droge gist (Cerevisiae) aan een temp. van 18-20 graden. De wijn rijpt verder op een blend van inox en houten vaten.
