Voor de Rose Variant van Bollinger wordt er jaarlijks van een deel van de Pinot Noir druiven rode wijn gemaakt, deze rode wijn wordt toegevoegd aan de rosé Champagne om zo zijn kleur en eigenschappen te geven. Bij Bollinger wordt er heel weinig Pinot Noir druiven gebruikt namelijk maar vijf procent, hierdoor krijgt hij wel zijn volle aanzet en een lichte roze kleur wat kenmerkend is voor de rosé Champagne van Bollinger.Een bijzondere blend voor de Bollinger Rosé
Deze Champagne is opgebouwd uit een blend van 62 procent Pinot Noir, 24 procent Chardonnay en 14 procent Pinot Meunier. Elke druifsoort geeft zijn visitekaartje af aan deze bijzondere rosé. Meer dan 85 procent van de druiven komen van Grands en Premiers crus in het Champagne gebied, aangevuld met rode wijn uit de eigen wijngaarden Côte aux Enfants in Aÿ. De druiven worden geheel met de hand geselecteerd. Na aankomst bij Bollinger worden de druiven voorzichtig geperst en apart opgevoed op oude houten vaten. Als de wijn vervolgens volledig is vergist en gefilterd, wordt deze gebruikt om de Special Cuvée Brut te transformeren naar een rosé. Hierbij wordt dan de vijf procent Pinot Noir toegevoegd.Hoe smaakt de Bollinger Rosé?
Voor een heerlijke Champagne is geduld nodig. De Champagne rijpt maar liefst dertig maanden in de kelders van Bollinger, dit is dubbel zo veel dan verplicht. Maar Bollinger doet dit juist om een eigen stijl Champagne te maken, nou dat is meer dan gelukt hoor! De kleur is zacht roze met een paarse glinstering. In de geur veel rood fruit zoals aardbeien, frambozen en kersen. Maar ook niet te vergeten de perzik en gebrande noten achter in de neus. De smaak is echt een plaatje, z'n zachte mousse (bubbels) en rijpe tonen van vers rood fruit. Achter op de tong proefde wij ook iets van wilde bessen en grapefruit. A multifaceted biographical sketch

A complicated personality who felt strongly no one was above the law; having been in Nuremberg in 2025 gave me a different perspective of the man as the prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials. He was meticulous and highly regarded in his career. Excellent read

An admiring but not uncritical portrait of a titan in the rule of law
Format: Hardcover
Professor White delivers an admiring but not uncritical portrait of a man who stood for qualities and principles now in short supply. Jackson was a leading practitioner when other judges were more political, but nevertheless had to speak the language of the rule of law. And his contributions at Nuremberg, haphazardly portrayed in the recent movie, really come through . The United States would help establish a record of epic misdeeds and show that the perpetrators could be punished in a system of justice.

With this volume, Mc Coy firmly establishes himself as a historian whose far sightedness only improves with age. A robust story teller, he demonstrates an uncanny ability to ferret the secrets out of arcane documents and records and connect the dots into a compelling narrative.
