Elke whisky in deze serie vertegenwoordigt een van de grote huizen van Westeros. Deze editie staat in het teken van House Stark van Winterfell — een eerbetoon aan de koude noordelijke hooglanden van Schotland waar ook Dalwhinnie zelf gevestigd is. Het distilleerhuis ligt op een van de hoogste en koudste plekken van het land, wat perfect aansluit bij het motto van House Stark: “Winter is Coming.”

De whisky werd in beperkte oplage uitgebracht ter gelegenheid van de laatste seizoenen van de serie en is sindsdien uitgegroeid tot een zeldzame verzameluitgave. Liefhebbers en verzamelaars zoeken deze fles vanwege zowel de smaak als de symbolische link met de serie.

Neus: honingachtige warmte, groene appel en peer, met lichte bloemige en kruidige accenten.

Palet: zacht en verwarmend; honingzoete fruittonen, lichte bloemenhint en een vleugje specerij. Sommige proevers ontdekken ook vanille, bakspices of zelfs tonen van graham cracker en bubblegum.

Afdronk: zacht, licht pittig en warm, met aanhoudende honingnoten.

Smaakprofiel: honing • appel • peer • heidebloesem • vanille • bakspices • zachte warmte

Horrible, don't buy

I wanted to love these. They had so much potential. It's a good size. It seems like a good shape. But ... 1) first red flag should have been the packaging. It looked like it was a dollar store item that had beenblost on the shelves for years. 2) the rubber is super flexible. I was expecting it to be sturdier. I can flatten the ball without lich force. Maybe that doesn't matter. Naybe flexible is good. But I never got a chance to test out it's durability against a pup because... 3) it smelled. I expected it to smell like rubber, like most rubber toys. Rubber smell is okay. Usually rubber smell goes away. But, this was NOT a rubber smell. It smells like peppermint or something similar. It's like someone sprayed essential oils when mixing the rubber and now the smell will not leave. I soaked it in dawn soap half the day and overnight. I rubbed. I scrubbed. The smell actually gets worst the more you scrub it!!! It's like a scented marker or scented eraser, but you do NOT want the scent in a dog toy! My dog cannot smell the food in it because the smell of the weird mint-like scent is so overpowering. He saw it had food, and wanted it, but every time he started sniffing wildly, he would recoil. Whoever thought it was a good idea to scent this was WRONG. Mint in the form of an essential oil is extremely poisonous to dogs!! So, why they would put a mint-loke scent ijto the dog's rubber treat toy is beyond me. I would return this if I hadn't throw out the package immediately. I considered pulling the package out of the trash once i realized the scent issue but other trash had already been dumped into the trash can over it and i didn't want to dig through trash. The ball is still soaking in soap. I scrubbed again this morning. I let obe dry out. No luck. It actually seems to get worst the more you scrub, like it really is embedded in the rubber itself. Yuck!!!
