Dit wijnproject werd in 1988 gestart door de Carbonell Figueras familie en is vernoemd naar de nabijgelegen historische vestingstad Montblanc. Naast de lokale druiven Trepat, Ull de Llebre ( Tempranillo ) en Garnacha werkt het team onder leiding van oenoloog Josep Valdrí ook met internationale variëteiten als Chardonnay, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc en Merlot. Het gamma van Clos Montblanc beslaat dan ook traditionele wijnen met lokale druivenrassen tot meer internationaal gemaakte wijnen, maar wel altijd binnen de traditionele filosofie van het wijnhuis. Naast het aanbod van stille witte en rode wijnen produceert men ook een serie prachtige Cava's. 

Stoere blend van Cariñena, cabernet sauvignon en syrah. Na de handmatige oogst rijpt de wijn zo'n 12 tot 16 maanden in eikenhouten vaten. Het resultaat mag er zijn! Een volle wijnen met rijp rood fruit, vanille, cacao en kruidige aroma's. Echte eetwijn!
