This is a fully air-dried blank, measuring 10-12% moisture content. Madrona tends to have a fair bit of internal stress stored up due to its twisting and turning growth habit. This gives the wood its gorgeous grain but also increases the risk of cracks occurring while drying. This piece has open cracks as shown in the close-up photos. We recommend stabilizing these with thin or medium CA glue prior to turning. This size of spindle is useful for a range of turning, carving, or other woodworking projects. Popular projects from this size spindle: game calls, bottle stoppers, shot glasses, tool handles, knife scales, toothpick holders, drawer pulls. About the Tree This Madrona tree lived a long and healthy life on San Juan Island, Washington. It died naturally and was harvested in the course of good forest management. |

Amazing Fit For Tall Senior Slim Person!

I usually wear a size 8 or 10 or medium. But being 5 foot 11 and weigh 145, it’s very hard to find pants that fit. These in medium are great lightweight and long enough that they touch the floor in the back. Being older I have extra weight in my stomach and waist, but the waist is wide and not tight. It fits nice in the back also and the rise is long enough. Great summer pants for our hot weather in Florida. Even if they do pill some, I have a gadget that removes any pilling so not worried about that. I got the medium in the teal color which is not as bright but a nice color.

Pilling
I loved these pants very much when I first purchased them the fit was amazing and the length was even better. Pants are very flattering. I wore them for the first time a few days ago only for a couple hours and pilling happened immediately! I am very annoyed at that fact because I purchased these pants at the end of March and I am not in my return window! I am Not a happy customer at all. Waste of money

Love these pants . Good quality. Good material and made well. Bought a second pair but they are lighter weight material which is nice for the summer. Will buy again. First heavier white material did not shrink. Not sure about the most recent material as I haven’t washed them yet. Size true to fit

Perfect linen pants
Absolutely love these pants. They are high quality material and well made. The legs aren’t too wide and the wide waistband with drawstring is very flattering. Perfect transition piece between seasons but are lightweight enough to wear during the heat of the summer. I liked them so well I bought in three other colors.
