With a kiss PosterI have combined Baz Luhrmanns Romeo + Juliet from 1996 with the words from William Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet from 1597. In my art, I merge motifs from popular culture with text from classical literature. The motifs are rendered in black and white, which gives them a deeper, more aged feel. Meanwhile, the classical text takes on a modern tone through the neon color and the way it is presented.
