It provides Gigabit Ethernet and power via single Ethernet cable (Cat5e or better). This solution allows running just one cable from inside equipment to the radio outside instead of using two separate cables for power and Ethernet. For CFIP Lumina radios it must be used together with PoE splitter.

The PoE injector has a built-in lightning and surge protection preventing transient over-voltages from damaging radio and user’s indoor equipment. The injector is protected against reversed polarity.

The injector has a built-in DC/DC converter, which is always active, thus input voltage can vary from 20 to 65 V, but it will be stabilized to 54 V on the output. Device has an over current and short circuit protection. It is designed to diminish the negative influence of long cable or insufficient input voltage from power supply.
