2024 PRS S2 Standard 22 Electric Guitar, Scarlet Sunburst w/ Premium Gig BagPRS S2 Standard 22 delivers the classic PRS Standard recipe in a 22 fret format that favors feel, fundamental, and fast stage workflow. PRS S2 Standard 22 delivers the classic PRS Standard recipe in a 22-fret format that favors feel, fundamental, and fast stage workflow. The shorter fret count nudges the neck pickup a touch farther from the bridge, which sweetens the attack and adds a little extra bloom to chords. It is an easy guitar to dial, a hard one to outgrow.

The body is solid mahogany with an asymmetric bevel carved top. That contour lightens the load and gives the right forearm a comfortable break while keeping the note quick off the pick. Scale length is 25 inches for the familiar PRS balance of snap and bendability. The PRS patented tremolo sits low to the top, returns to pitch predictably when set up flush, and does not rattle or steal sustain. Low mass locking tuners keep the headstock trim and make string changes a no drama affair.

Neck specs target all day playability. Mahogany is carved to Pattern Regular, which fills the palm without feeling clubby. The rosewood fingerboard carries 22 frets on a 10-inch radius with the Birds inlay set. Nut width is 1 21/32 inches, which leaves a touch more room for the wound strings without crowding first position grips. The setup rewards clean fretting and wide vibrato in equal measure.

Electronics are straightforward and versatile. A calibrated pair of 58/15 LT humbuckers, Maryland USA made, delivers open highs, articulate mids, and a low end that stays tight under gain. The five-way blade covers useful series and parallel voices, so clear rhythm, glassy split like textures, and focused lead tones are all one click away. A single volume and tone keep the control surface fast.

Finished in Scarlet Sunburst high gloss nitro and supplied in a premium gig bag, PRS S2 Standard 22 reads understated from the audience and tracks with an uncompressed, mix friendly profile. It is a dependable platform for players who want mahogany punch, PRS tuning stability, and a neck pickup that sings.

Ball Launcher Poorly Made and Hard To Use, Save Your Money
This launcher was too long and thin to pick up the ball from the ground, I had to use my other hand to press down on it. The screw on handle was heavy and kept coming loose no matter how tight I made it, strain on the wrist to use. The ball holder end would often not let go of the ball when trying to launch it. I ended up putting it in the trash. I had two shorter Chuckit launchers that are much better made, will stick with them. I don't recommend this to anyone, save your money.

Go Get It!
GoSports does it again. Our family has a lot of GoSports products. It brings us comfort knowing when we order a product from them the quality is going to be great. The Ball Launcher is excellent. Our lab loves the soft tennis balls that come with it, preferring them over the harder rubber ones from other brands. The launcher itself is thoughtfully designed, well-made, and comfortable to hold. Our new go-to for daily fetch sessions.

Gave it a Try
I have always used the Chuck It ball and ball launcher. I thought I would try this since the price was better. There is definitely a reason it is priced lower. The handle on this one twists on and constantly comes undone when you throw, and it does not launch nearly as well. I would not order this product again.

A few usability issues
My dog is obsessed with playing fetch. It’s part of our daily routine. Pros - I like that this comes with two launchers so we can keep one at home and one in the car. - Build feels solid Cons - The cup is slightly too small for regular sized tennis balls. I buy the large Costco box of Penn tennis balls every couple of years for my dog. If you fully seat the ball in the cup/launching end, it’s extremely difficult to throw and puts some strain on your wrist. — the workaround is to only partially insert the ball when picking it up. - Like others have stated, the launcher does come unscrewed occasionally after a few throws. It’s kind of annoying so I’ll likely try some thread lock, but ideally that wouldn’t be necessary.

Fun!!!
I can’t say enough good things about this tennis ball launcher! Roxy absolutely loves it. Every time I pick it up, her tail goes crazy with excitement. It’s so easy on my arm, and I love that it gives her a great way to burn off energy. The launcher is sturdy, well-made, and works like a charm. If you have a high-energy pup like Roxy, this is a must-have!
