A rare 1940s Murano glass pendant lamp in a beautiful design by the Barovier and Toso glassworks. Hand-blown with four twisted glass arms, it shimmers as it catches the light. The rare rectangular central shade has a gorgeous bubble design in alternating opaque and clear glass. Stunning in a modern or more traditional interior. An exceptional piece of Italian glass design.

Found in Pisa.

Condition: Very good. This piece is in very good vintage condition. There is an internal fissure inside the glass rod near the ceiling cup that is not noticeable. There is a small, almost invisible, nick in one of the curved arms. The brass brackets are oxidized with some green patina. Any marks and differences in size and texture are a testament to the hand-made nature of the piece. The ceiling cup has been replaced. The electrics have been professionally rewired and it takes an E27 bulb.
