240mm clutch set, comes with pressure plate, clutch disc, and release bearing, for models with dual mass flywheels only.

 

If your BMW's clutch has started to slip it will need to be replaced. Some owners will opt to simply replace the clutch disc but we always find it best to replace the entire clutch kit for the best service life and performance. We also recommend replacing the rear main seal.

We also recommends inspecting the flywheel for excessive wear. If the flywheel is worn we recommend replacing it at the same time as the clutch kit. This will ensure a long and reliable service life of your BMW's clutch.

Clutch Kit

Clutch kits are made up of two main components, the clutch friction disc and the clutch pressure plate. Both of these components transfer torque from the flywheel to the transmission. There are several different types of manual transmission clutches in terms of operation but they all perform the same basic function.

Clutches are a pure wear item. In some cases you may have the option to replace a pressure plate or clutch disc separately but its always best to replace both at the same time along with other component such as the rear main seal, pilot bearing, release bearing, and shifter parts.

  • Slipping under acceleration
  • Engine revs freely but vehicle does not accelerate
  • Difficulty shifting gears
  • Squeaking noises whole clutch pedal is pressed
  • Sticky or spongy clutch pedal feel when clutch pedal pressed
  • Burning smell from slipping clutch

A true turtleneck that retains a snug high neck.

I've found this brand to have gotten better over the years as far as offering the American market what it needs in terms of realistic sizing. I only wish they'd realize that there are a lot of us who are long in the back and arms where my only choice is to go a size up and sacrifice a slim fit for sleeves that are long enough plus a back that doesn't go up past my waist just because I reach up for something, that and I like to be warm. Finally the warmth you seek is there but I've worn them in what most would think isn't the right temp for a turtleneck. Also they have them in white! Yes, a lot of others just don't for reasons I can't fathom, and the pic you're seeing is accurate, these will form to your shape without being ridiculously thin material. Several washes later and they are as fine a garment as when I first wore them. I've only found one other brand that compares to these but it's much more expensive, COOFANDY is affordable in these times of expensive everything. Warm but also a lightweight shirt, I've gotten them really dirty with actual dirt and it washes out so well you'd never know it. Don't let my taking off one star stop you, try one yourself and you'll be coming back for more.
