Cinnamon continues to be a popular spice, and more recently has been studied extensively for its positive effects in blood sugar and lipid metabolism. Chromium is an essential nutrient required for sugar and fat metabolism. However, normal dietary intake of chromium for humans is often suboptimal. In such individuals supplemental chromium can help support healthy blood sugar metabolism.
The product contains 1,000 mg (1 gram) of cassia cinnamon and 120 mcg of chromium (100% Daily Value) per two capsules.
The chromium is chelated to rice protein for enhanced absorption.
