This Shielded Outdoor Aerial CAT6 Cable With Messenger is specifically designed for installations where the cable is supported by posts or poles. It boasts 8 solid bare copper conductors (4-Pairs) with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a CMX polyethylene (PE) UV-resistant jacket. The inclusion of aluminum foil shielding enhances protection against electrical interferences that could disrupt your signal. The cable is equipped with a tinned copper drain wire, essential for grounding electricity after termination to prevent signal loss, cross-talk, and other performance issues. Tailored for residential outdoor aerial LAN applications, this Shielded Category 6 Aerial Outdoor Cable With Messenger is the optimal choice for installations above ground (pole to pole).
