It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even texture. There are hints of gray and brown striping, and a slight bit of black line spalting here and there. Silver Maple Block SM-232 2" x 2" x 7.1" 0.6 lbs. This is a pretty spindle of Texas-grown Silver Maple. It has an overall light golden tone to the wood with a fine, even texture. There are hints of gray and brown striping, and a slight bit of black-line spalting here and there. There are occasional small knots of a slightly darker brown color; most of these knots are 1/4" across or less. We've cut these pieces as end-grain pieces, so that the long grain runs parallel to the short dimension of the block. In other words, two of the long faces are end-grain faces. This wood has been fully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I see no cracks, flaws, or other issues with this block. Please scroll down below the first several photos to see all images. |

Better then the fake down style pillows
These shredded memory foam pillows are really comfortable. They’re soft but still supportive, and I like that you can adjust the fill to get the firmness just right. They don’t go flat easily and hold their shape well through the night. Definitely a nice upgrade if you want something more customizable than a regular pillow.

Try a different pillow

Even with all the memory foam in it, it's still flat. No firmness to it. I hoped it would expand and settle in the few weeks I've had the pillows, but nothing works (dryer, fluffing, etc)

This is a must have!

One of my favorite purchases! I love that you can take stuffing out as needed. My husband kept majority of his in because he likes a full pillow. I prefer a flatter, soft pillow so I took out probably half of the stuffing. We both love them!
