This Taylor Studio is constructed from combination of all-solid woods. A back and sides combo of sapele with a torrefied Sitka spruce top constitutes this acoustic for a rich, colorful voice. The Sitka spruce, heat-treated through a process called torrefaction, plays with an aged and worn-in sound that is usually reserved for older tonewoods. Altogether, this Sitka top projects with a well-loved sound right out of the case and is visually impressive with an all-gloss finish and edgeburst color.

From this cutaway body, this Taylor Studio utilizes a mahogany neck with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. This responsibly-sourced wood is smooth across the fingers and presents a rich, dark shade to complement the natural grains and colors of the body and neck's woods.
