1970年代のSPHINXのエナメルイヤリング。

ころんとしたドームシェイプのメタルが濃く深いマロンブラウンのエナメルで彩られ、敷き詰められたクリアビジューが描く美しいラインで装飾されています。

エナメルの内側は燻したようなこっくりとした質感で、赤みのあるブラウンが艶やか。クリアストーンがセットされた部分のメタルのカラーのみ、白い輝きを引き立てるためにシルバートーンとなっており、こだわりを感じさせます。

身に纏えば、横顔に深みある気品を添えてくれる素敵な一品。エレガントで洗練されたデザインで、シーンを問わず永く愛用していただけます。

イヤリング裏側のメタルに僅かにくすみが見られますが、その他非常に良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

【SPHINX(スフィンクス)とは】
1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
