Masamoto Sohonten, the undisputed king of Japanese kitchen knives, has arrived at Knives and Stones. Started by Minosuke Matsuzawa in 1872, succeed by Kichizo Hirano in 1891, Masamoto Sohonten is now under the management of the 6th generation Masamoto: Masahiro Hirano. These are by far the softest and most comfortable underwear I have ever owned. The leg portion absolutely does roll up as so many others have mentioned, however, I did not find that to be uncomfortable at all just annoying that they don’t stay in place. I bought these specific underwear to see if it would help alleviate HS symptoms at all. They have definitely helped with wicking moisture away from the skin. More time will tell if it’s truly helpful for HS. For now, I will recommend these. I have washed them several times and they seem to be holding up rather well so that is also of supreme importance given the cost of the item. Again, I would recommend this item and plan on purchasing more in a different style very soon.
