When to Replace
- Engine fails to engage the cutting deck
- Intermittent blade operation during use
- Switch knob feels loose, stuck, or unresponsive
- Visible damage to the housing or electrical terminals
- Visible electrical burns or melting at the terminal connection points
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the negative battery cable before performing any electrical work
- Take a photograph of the current wire harness orientation before removing the old switch to ensure correct reconnection
- Ensure the snap-mount tabs are fully seated in the mounting hole to prevent vibration-induced movement
- Verify that the wire harness connector is free of debris or corrosion before attaching it to the new switch
- Test the blade engagement function at low engine RPM immediately after installation

This is exactly what I needed. Fits perfectly for my 2018 Honda Accord as well as being very easy to install. This is coming from someone who has no idea about doing anything on my car. Fit is good.
Filters fit and look essentially the same as the filters I’ve purchased and the official types from the dealer. I live in an area where wildfires occur almost every year, so it’s good to have an extra set of filters to change them out after a run of smoky days.
