PRODUCT DETAILS

Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade replacement for stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, & aluminum end links give the Hybrid Racing cables a firmer, tighter feel over OEM cables resulting in fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis. Heat resistant up to 225*F with a max bend radius of 5" (for optimum life)

We created a cable to give people peace of mind. We improved driving performance when they shift hard and during demanding racing applications and the Hybrid Racing performance cables achieve this goal!

Other notable features of the Hybrid Racing cables are spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (oem are plastic) that are known to break on the OEM cables. All of the rod ends, and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo and flair.

Are these cables a direct replacement for my OEM Shifter Cables?

No! The cables were created for customers using a Honda/Acura K24A2/A4/A8 transmission and the Hybrid Racing Z3 Bolt-In Shifter. For years, customers had no easy option to use these transmissions with good shifters in K-Swapped cars. Most setups required lots of modification, but not anymore! You must use the OEM K24A2/A4/A8 cable mounting bracket.

Use these shifter cables with these Hybrid Racing parts:
HR Short Shifter - HYB-SAS-01-11

What is included with these shifter cables?

The kit comes with two shifter cables and hardware to attach the cables to the transmission bracket.

88-91 Honda Civic / CR-X

92-00 Honda Civic (All Trims - RHD & LHD)
93-97 Honda Del-Sol (All Trims - RHD & LHD)
89-1993 Acura Integra
94-01 Acura Integra (All Trims - RHD & LHD)

Must use K24A2/A4/A8 transmission and bracket
These cables are also compatible with the K20A trans found in the CL7 Euro R Accord. NOT DC5 K20A!
Must use the HYB-SAS-01-11 K-Swap Z3 Bolt-In Shifter

Great for big chewers
My dogs have to have these. Have to. When I come home from work they each grab one and prance around like they just caught a moose or something. This past weekend my big boy doodle wanted me to toss it to him like I do his tennis ball. He kept dropping it for me to toss. It was hard explaining that it would be the worst boop he ever felt. Ok, lets talk about longevity. I've had these for over a month and they still look great. Barely looked chewed at all. These are tough and poodles supposedly have soft mouths but mine chew on these a lot. They are large. My female is 60 pounds and my Dood is 90. These chew toys keep my pets engaged when I am busy doing all the things at home so that takes some pressure off of me. I would buy them again for sure.

It's indestructible because your dog won't touch it.
It's made of hard plastic and has a weird odor. Both of my dogs just looked at it, smelled it and walked away.

Great Teething Toy for an Active Puppy
Our 6-month-old Goldendoodle has really enjoyed chewing on these rings. They’ve been especially helpful while she’s been teething, and so far she hasn’t made a dent in them, which is impressive given how much she chews. There’s clearly some sort of flavor or scent on the toy that makes it especially attractive to her, so it keeps her engaged much longer than some other chew toys we’ve tried. The rings feel durable, well made, and are a great way to keep an active puppy occupied. Highly recommend for teething puppies or dogs that are aggressive chewers.

Super hard plastic
This might be okay for big dogs but my little dogs are not interested at all. I’ve heard if you can’t make an indentation w/ your thumb nail, it’s too hard and your dog could chip or break a tooth…
