This Taylor twelve-string comes together initially with a body constituted of a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. A classic Taylor tonewood combination, these two woods assemble to form the baseline of this twelve-string experience – sonically dynamic, versatile, and with overall great acoustic projection. The 254ce Plus takes the form of Taylor’s Grand Auditorium body shape with an internal C-Class bracing system. This bracing pattern incorporates a relief route to optimize tonal stability and make for the best baseline sound possible. Outfitted in this body is Taylor’s fine Venetian cutaway that opens up access to higher frets for enhanced playability. The body meets with a comfortably-shaped neck made of Neo-Tropical mahogany cut to a Taylor Standard Carve profile.

The playing experience of this twelve-string continues on with the addition of a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard. Comfortable across the fingers, this board delivers on all the easy playability Taylor is known for.
