Cole Clark Fat Lady 2 Dreadnought Blackwood With HumbuckerWhen Cole Clark was founded in 2001, they set out to make the highest quality instruments using techniques that none of the other big builders were using. For starters, their guitars use Spanish heel construction as opposed to a dove tail method to secure the necks to the body. When Cole Clark was founded in 2001, they set out to make the highest quality instruments using techniques that none of the other big builders were using. For starters, their guitars use Spanish heel construction as opposed to a dove tail method to secure the necks to the body. The neck is glued to the top, back, and sides resulting in a unique sound that resonates throughout the instrument. They are also well-known for their highly acclaimed pickup system. Which is not only different than every other manufacturer but is known for resulting in the most natural sounding plugged in acoustic guitars available. This plus carved tops/backs and the utilization of various other methods seldom used by others and they are continuously pushing the boundaries of the craft.

Seeing this Fat Lady 2 Model with a Lollar Imperial Humbucker along with controls that look like they belong on an electric guitar and not an acoustic without knowing this backstory, might make one ask themselves why an acoustic guitar would look that way. Afterall, it’s not every day that you see a humbucker in a full-sized acoustic guitar! That said, there is a method to their madness. Adding this incredible Lollar Imperial Humbucker to their already highly acclaimed pickup system results in everything you would need out of an electric and acoustic guitar. Like every Cole Clark plugged in, it’s as if you are only hearing the guitar at a louder volume. Unplugged, this one ticks all the boxes. It’s got top, bottom, and mid all covered with plenty of rich harmonic overtones and character.

All these features plus, it is extremely comfortable to play, it has beautiful satin natural nitro finish, and it comes with a beautiful tweed hard case. This guitar was handmade in Australia and has traveled all the way around the world to give its future owner a truly unique, top of the line instrument that will also allow them to stand out in a crowd of acoustic guitar players.

  • Australian Blackwood body
  • She Oak fingerboard and bridge
  • Queensland Maple neck

Didn't even last an hour!
Color: Orange & Blue, Color: Orange & Blue
I had high hopes for these toys as the description sounded like they might be not easily destructible. Well, I was dissapointed again. Our shih-poo (half shih-tzu/ half minature poodle) had one of the toys apart in an hour. See photo.

Stuffed with Plastic
Color: Orange & Blue
So these are super cute and they have crinkle sounds and a squeaker, but these would not be suitable for chewers. The have plastic stuffing in the legs and my dog almost choked on it...so I just have to tell you that these may be ok for smaller dogs but mine is 30 pounds and he ripped through it and started eating the plastic crinkle stuffing.

My dogs absolutely loved these! The quality is actually good and the price for two of them is fair! Surprisingly the durability is more than I expected my aggressive chewer hasn’t completely destroyed it!

Tough toys!
Color: Orange & Blue
We have 2 deogs, a large Aussie and a small terrior. The little guy is very hard on toys. Few last a full day. We have thrown away hundreds of $ worth of toys, We have had these for a few months, and he has not managed to destoy them yet. They get played with a lot because he has very few toys. I keep trying to find toys which will survive this dog. He hjas even destroyed Kong toys which are pretty tough, but has not destroyed these. I wrote this review as I cam back to order more toys from this company, because it is great to have some which can stand up to his abuse.
