The Iris Guitar Company DF model is a sloped-shoulder dreadnought of respectable scale and sound named after Iris co-founder Dale Fairbanks. The Iris Guitar Company, known for excellence in its production of vintage-inspired acoustic guitars, blends modern playability with classic aesthetics to make for true musical treasures. 

Comparable in shape and size to a J-45, this DF Model’s body fits wonderfully in the arms thanks to its skillfully assembled body. An Adirondack spruce top and mahogany back and sides come together to form the basis of this guitar’s impressive acoustic engine. This sound is only enhanced by scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing and an Indian rosewood fingerboard to inspire lengthy playing sessions. In hand, this DF Model compels any player to explore its full range and tone for countless hours of riffing. Simply, it's a match between touch and sound to drift off with.

This DF’s bolt-on mortise and tenon neck joint brings the tonewoods of this acoustic together in refined fashion. Further, the refined details and appointments of this guitar continue with a Bone nut and saddle, a firestripe pickguard and exquisite white body binding. An open pore, natural satin nitrocellulose finish characterizes this guitar with a distinctly classic aesthetic visually and tangibly.
