The body of this J-Bass is made from alder, and boasts the same classic curves and contours of the iconic 64 J-Bass body shape. With its Fender Custom Shop Relic finish, this guitar is designed to look as though it's seen years of regular use while still playing immaculately, with every scratch and dent telling a story- albeit slightly less relic'd than its "Heavy Relic" Fender Custom Shop counterparts.

A nod to authenticity, this bass sports vintage bass nickel tuning machines, holding true to the era's spirit. A slight departure from original design, this bass sports a '60 J-Bass "U" neck profile, known for its comfort, and is host to a quarter sawn maple neck, offering slightly more stability than a flat sawn neck while also contributing to the bass's familiarly comfortable playability. A rosewood fingerboard, furthered with a vintage accurate 7.25" fingerboard radius and slightly more modern medium jumbo frets also contribute to this bass's comfortable playability. Special block inlays offering a touch of aesthetic class to the fretboard, as well.
