These lamps are switched on and off by a touch button located on the top of the lamp; with the same button it is possible to dim the intensity of the light as well as adjust the color temperature of the light. To recharge the lamp, simply plug the provided charging base into an outlet and place the lamp on the base. The translucent top will glow red while charging and turn green once the charging cycle is complete. A full charge takes around 6 hours. The fully charged lamp may also remain on the charging cradle without damaging the battery.
