The Taylor Academy 22e Walnut offers all the benefits of a solid walnut top along with the comfort features of the smaller size instrument. Walnut produces a tone as a top wood similar to Mahogany or Koa as a result of comparable hardness and density. Walnut has a beautiful natural figure that looks as great as it sounds. The slim Grand Concert body pairs perfectly with the shorter 24 7/8” scale length and the 1 11/16” nut width. Grand Concerts are notoriously excellent for fingerstyle with its touch sensitive design and dynamic response. The beveled armrest adds to the comfort creating a soft spot for your strumming forearm to rest while you play, instead of a sharp 90-degree corner.
