Improve the flow of the charged air through your MK7 with the Mishimoto Intercooler Pipe Kit! The GTI has a long pedigreed history in the realm of hot-hatchbacks, especially when it comes to models powered with 4-cylinder turbo engines. The stock piping in Volkswagen?s star player, however, doesn?t quite live up to the hype. Full of bends, restrictive diameters, and constructed from degradation-prone materials, the stock charge pipes can be a hold-up for your MK7, especially when cranking up the boost. Here at Mishimoto, we improved on the intercooler piping system so that you can make your hot-hatch even hotter. We started with replacing all of the plastic and rubber with a more robust construction of mandrel-bent aluminum, and 5-layer, heat resistant silicone couplers to ensure a sturdy and long-lasting connection to and from the intercooler. We also reduced the amount of bends on top of increasing the piping diameter to 2.75 inches, together equating to a 30% increase in air flow, making these the perfect combination with an aftermarket tune.The Mishimoto MK7 Intercooler Pipe Kit is available in a polished or wrinkle black finish to suit the style of your MK7. Is this a joke? I just opened a package that was sold as new, but nowhere on the purchase did it say it was refurbished or used. It looks obviously worn, yet it was sold to me as new. This should have been given to me for free. There are permanent stains on it and fresh hair all around the neck area, and I don’t have hair — I’m bald. Please see the pictures and my video. I just opened the pack, and it looked refolded and packaged as if fresh from someone else’s laundry.
