INSPIRATION:
My art piece is inspired by the symbiotic relationship between the earth, ocean, sea creatures & humans in Jeffreys Bay, but with all the ocean pollution there is an OFFSET in this relationship. We must all do our part to ensure we do not litter and use recyclable materials and packaging.
I used only "used" packaging materials in my sculpture that we generally recycle or re-use in my household.
I really love building sculptures, building new creations from nothing to anything.
ARTIST BIO:
My name is Sebastien Arnoux Blignaut, 13 years old. I was born on the 29th of June 2012, in Sunward Park, Gauteng.
We moved to Jeffreys Bay in Dec 2015, started my schooling here in 2016. Currently I Home School, Gr7. I just love History.
My family, my favorite people, Dad - Marius, Mom - Denet & twin sisters Dominique & Scarlett.
My hobbies include, Piano, tennis, cricket and my absolute favorite is Karting.
I enjoy sculptures as I can express myself and I love building and engineering projects.
Jbay has given me freedom to explore nature, the sounds, the smells & freedom.
My life has been shaped by many experiences and people, I would not want to change anything, and I am excited to see what my next season in life holds. Above all I am grateful for Gods blessings and talents.
