Model One MouthpieceBased on our battle tested Model CV paired with our Rim R, we threw everything we have into these designs. Without the restrictions of having the two pieces fit together like in our standard cups we were able to specifically tune every size rim to the optimal cup shape providing performance even beyond what our highly acclaimed 2 piece line of mouthpieces can deliver. We've even had custom made tooling created to keep our complex back bore geometry

Based on our battle-tested Model CV paired with our Rim R, we threw everything we have into these designs.  Without the restrictions of having the two pieces fit together like in our standard cups we were able to specifically tune every size rim to the optimal cup shape providing performance even beyond what our highly acclaimed 2-piece line of mouthpieces can deliver.  We've even had custom made tooling created to keep our complex back-bore geometry available even at higher production scale.

The sound has a dense, stable core and produces a large, controlled color change as the dynamic increases.  Articulations are malleable; from the gentlest sneaks to strong pings at any dynamic.  And there's plenty of top end power for Mahler and Shostakovich available too.  The design creates this by using a bowl shaped upper cup which smoothly transitions into a deep, conical bore funnel.  This gives a unique degree of control and sound color to the cups and is responsible for their broad compatibility with horns of different designs and from different makers.

The rim is based on our popular Rim R - not too thin, not too thick and with a bite that's "just right".  It gets out of the way and lets you focus on the music.
