These small batch Belgian watercolours are poured by hand into beautiful, oversized porcelain pans, measuring 3.5 x 2.25 inches at their widest point and contain about 8 times as much watercolour as an ordinary half pan. Further, when you finally use all your colour you can reuse the porcelain pans for mixing or large washes.

Blockx watercolours are made using only lightfast pigments and the finest traditional ingredients. Pigments are slowly ground on stone tri-cylinders to simulate the manual process and accentuate the individual quality of each colour. The pigment is then coated with Gum Arabic and honey to enhance their brightness, luminosity and wetting properties. The range contains 72 beautiful colours across 4 series.
