Partners, Sisters and Friends. Partner Look are a Melbourne-based band made up of German sisters Ambrin (Cool Sounds) and Anila Hasnain (Studio Magic), who are joined by their partners Dainis Lacey (Cool Sounds) and Lachlan Denton (The Ocean Party). The members also share a history of friendship and musical bonds. Trouble In Mind (in conjunction with Spunk/Osbourne Again in Australia) is honored to be releasing "By The Book" - the band's debut - a twelve-track charmer that swoons and smirks with a scrappy, yet sophisticated take on sparkling indie pop. Partner Look first got together to write the song 'Jana', a virtual wedding celebration for their family friend whose wedding they couldn't attend in person. Wanting to believe that the hit single sent ripples through the Rhineland's music scene, Partner Look continued writing songs and playing live shows across Melbourne. "By The Book" was recorded in a short window in May 2020, when Melbourne's lockdown was loosened for a few months, allowing five people at home. It was recorded in a studio built by Lachlan and Dainis in Dainis' and Ambrin's garage in Brunswick. Lachlan recorded all his drum-parts playing with the whole band in one go. The rest of the band re-recorded and edited their parts in the following three weeks. Dainis engineered it and Liam "Snowy" Haillwell mixed and mastered all tracks. The band is a vehicle for all members to share their own song ideas and collaboratively progress them in an open and encouraging space. However, misunderstandings often underpin the creative process, as the band name exemplifies. Partnerlook is a German expression referring to two people wearing similar or matching outfits. After years of using the pseudo-anglicism to compliment friends wearing matching outfits, who must have been too polite to ask, Dainis and Lachlan finally wondered: 'what do you mean with Partnerlook?!' Partner Look's music often questions place, belonging and the relationship to 'home' in a connected and sometimes disconnected world, focusing on where we differ and where we, as humans, are inherently similar. "By The Book" is released on CD & LP (a limited "baby blue" vinyl version is available while supplies last) & available to download and/or stream on all available DSPs.

Wood & Metal Desk Organizer – Sturdy but Assembly Needed
This desk drawer organizer and pen holder is made from wood and painted metal and looks nice once assembled. The type of wood isn’t specified, but it feels heavy and solid. The pen holder requires assembly, which can be a bit tricky since no instructions are included. You need to attach the two wooden sides to the wooden bottom first, then add the metal sides. The screws are included, along with two mini screwdrivers, but the tools are very small and the wood is very hard, so I needed help to finish assembly. Once assembled, the items look attractive and feel sturdy. My organizer arrived with a small chip in one of the metal pieces, leaving a spot where the black paint is missing, which is noticeable. The organizer works best as shown in the listing photos — for larger items like glasses, wallets, cell phones, or keys. The sides of the organizer aren’t completely flush with the bottom, so very small items like paper clips could get stuck or fall through. To protect desktops, the organizer comes with four stick-on felt pads for the corners, and the pen holder has a rectangular felt pad that you attach yourself. Overall, it’s attractive, sturdy, and useful, but assembly can be a little challenging.

The Best Cable Management Solution for IT Work — Reusable, Reliable, and Professional
Size: 150Pk - 8" x 1/2", Style: Cord Wrap Cable Ties, Color: Black and Gray
TL;DR: I’ve been using these VELCRO Brand cable ties for years as an IT field tech. They hold tight, are endlessly reusable, and keep cables tidy. Great for both home and professional setups. Full Review: As an IT field technician, I’ve tried countless ways to keep cables organized, and these VELCRO Brand cable ties are simply the best. They’re reusable, strong, and easy to reposition — ideal for network racks, AV installs, or just cleaning up cords around the house. Functionality: Top-notch. The hook-and-loop material is aggressive enough to hold firmly, but not so sticky that it clings to everything else in your tool bag. They wrap cleanly, stay put, and release easily when you need to re-route cables. They’re reliable enough for professional jobs and flexible enough for home use. Storage Capacity: Each strap holds more than you’d expect — I rarely need to link two together. They handle thick cable bundles or power cords just fine on their own. And when I do need more length, it’s easy to join a second strap for a larger wrap. The two-color mix (black and gray) is great for keeping different cable types separated — for instance, network vs. power. The thin profile also helps keep bundles neat and professional-looking. These have earned me plenty of compliments from higher-ups for clean cable runs and well-organized setups. Once you switch to these, you’ll never want to deal with cutting zip ties again.
