Starting out a square one with its basis and probably most exciting element, this American Performer’s body is formed from spruce and is fitted with a satin Honey Burst finish. For a unique choice of wood, this Tele’s spruce single-cutaway figure carries with it the classic Telecaster form but with some distinct difference in resonance and feel thanks to the spruce. This spruce is matched with a maple neck in a fast Modern “C” profile, outfitted for dynamic playing. A maple fingerboard joins the equation on this model with twenty-two Jumbo frets that feel spacious and allow for quick and easy fretting across the entire scale length. A synthetic bone nut and Fender ClassicGear tuning machines line the headstock for accessible stringing and solid intonation.
