1960年代ワイスのラインストーンイヤリング。鮮やかなマゼンタピンク×気品あるパープルの美しい煌めきが一目で視線を惹きつけ、ストーンを取り巻くイエローゴールドのメッシュチェーンがクラシカルな雰囲気を放ちます。ヴィンテージならではのデザインと華やかな輝きが存在感抜群で、お顔周りを印象的に彩るお品。
【WEISS(ワイス)とは】
Albert Weissがデザイナーとして在籍していたCoroから独立し、1942年にNYで設立したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。WEISS本人がデザインを手掛け、制作も自社工場で行われました。WEISSのジュエリーは、オーストリア製の高品質なラインストーンを贅沢に使用した華やかなデザインが特徴。ラインストーンはその色と輝きが最も美しく見えるよう、一石ずつ手作業で爪留めされました。また、WEISSはその絶妙で印象的な色使いから「色の魔術師」と称されました。会社は1971年に閉業しましたが、そのクオリティの高さから現在もなおコレクターを魅了しています。
