Finished in a striking Fireburst satin, the SGM has a more understated look than a traditional SG Standard. The unbound maple neck, exposed zebra-coil Alnico V humbuckers and commemorative 120th Anniversary inlay at the 12th fret give it a unique character whilst retaining everything players love about an SG.

The pair of Gibson Alnico V zebra humbuckers deliver classic Gibson warmth, clarity and bite, making this a hugely versatile guitar capable of everything from blues and classic rock through to heavier modern tones. The 24-fret rosewood fingerboard provides extra range, while the factory Min-ETune system makes changing tunings quick and effortless. The tuner functions exactly as it should and the original charger is included.

This guitar has clearly been well cared for and appears to have spent its life in home use. Overall it presents very well, with only honest cosmetic wear consistent with age and careful ownership.

The satin finish used on the SGM models naturally wears through over time, and this example shows the typical finish wear around some of the body edges where the black has polished through, together with a handful of small paint chips, light surface marks and minor handling wear. There are also a few small marks to the rear of the neck, all of which are shown clearly in the photographs.

The Min-ETune system is fully functional, the electronics work exactly as they should and the guitar plays beautifully.
