イギリスで買い付けた、1960年代頃のMIRALCEのヴィンテージブローチ。

三頭の竜のような大魚が、貝殻に座った人魚を牽くように泳いでいます。

大きく口を開いて体を反らせる大魚の表情、貝殻を運ぶ波、人魚の指やひれ・・細部に至るまで、力強く、かつ丁寧に描写された逸品。

魚たちの咆哮や、激しい波音が聴こえてきそうです。

ファンタジックな幻獣のモチーフを、燻し加工が施された渋く重厚なメタルでMIRACLEらしく表現した、MIRACLEの中でも非常に珍しいデザイン。

身に纏えば、他にはない独特の存在感を放つお品です。

ピンに所々黒ずみが見られますが、その他良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

【MIRACLE(ミラクル)とは】
MIRACLEは、1946年にイギリスのバーミンガムで創業したコスチュームジュエリーメーカー。ケルト、アイリッシュ、スコティッシュスタイルジュエリーの英国有数ブランドです。
瑪瑙を模したボヘミアンガラス、カットクリスタルやラインストーンを用い、初期キリスト教のアイルランド写本などから着想を得た、歴史的なデザインをモチーフにしたジュエリーを制作。2013年に工場を閉鎖し、以降はコーンウォールに拠点を移しています。
