Discover the extraordinary life of Noor Inayat Khan in 'Code Name Madeleine', a captivating historical biography that unravels her journey from a serene suburb in 1920s Paris to the perilous world of wartime espionage. This meticulously researched book, published in 2021 by W W Norton & Company, spans 352 pages of gripping storytelling and profound insights into the sacrifices made during one of history's darkest periods. As a talented musician and writer, Noor was raised in an environment that emphasized harmony, beauty, and tolerance, values that shaped her character and resolve. However, the horrors of Nazi occupation ignited her spirit, leading her to join the British Special Operations Executive. Under the codename Madeleine, she emerged as a crucial wireless operator in Paris, sending vital intelligence to London while risking her life amidst relentless enemy threats. Her courageous actions ultimately made her a target for the Gestapo, yet Noor's bravery knew no bounds, as she attempted daring escapes before her tragic fate in Dachau. This book is not just a tribute to a remarkable woman; it's an essential read for anyone interested in World War II history, espionage, and the indomitable human spirit. Description:
Raised in a lush suburb of 1920s Paris, Noor Inayat Khan was an introspective musician and writer, dedicated to her family and to her father's spiritual values of harmony, beauty, and tolerance. She did not seem destined for wartime heroism. Yet, faced with the evils of Nazi violence and the German occupation of France, Noor joined the British Special Operations Executive and trained in espionage, sabotage, and reconnaissance. She returned to Paris under an assumed identity immediately before the Germans mopped up the Allies' largest communications network in France. For crucial months of the war, Noor was the only wireless operator there sending critical information to London, significantly aiding the success of the Allied landing on D-Day. Code-named Madeleine, she became a high-value target for the Gestapo. When she was eventually captured, Noor attempted two daring escapes before she was sent to Dachau and killed just months before the end of the war.
Carefully distilled from dozens of interviews, newly discovered manuscripts, official documents, and personal letters, Code Name Madeleine is both a compelling, deeply researched history and a thrilling tribute to Noor Inayat Khan, whose courage and faith guided her through the most brutal regime in history.

Love that it all up. Great use like original just smaller.
Size: Mini
Love this! Works great just like the original but it’s easy to fold up and put in bags for travel. Super durable, not flimsy . Balls have the same great bounce. Love the size great for any ball, loving pups, and the owners! Great gift ideas for new puppies. Will buy again for sure.

Not worth it
Size: Mini
The orange clasp that locks it in place is super faulty on the one I received. It folds at any point when trying to throw the ball. Not sure if I just got a defective one but I wasn’t a fan. Would rather get one at a pet store just to play it safe

Not as sturdy as a regular one
Size: Mini
I was holding off writing a review about this because I wasn’t sure that it was going to hold up as well as a regular non bendable Chuck It wand. I have found I like the way it folds up and fits into my backpack nicely and also fits into my big purse when I’m out and about with my dog. You have to make sure the orange sleeve is over the screw part in the middle of the wand before you can throw the ball otherwise it’s not going to throw. It’s going to collapse. I’m not sure how long the durability is going to last that’s my only question about this product and I don’t know how long the screws on the elbow of it are gonna hold up but for now it’s been working great and we play with it every day and I’ve not had a problem with it. It’s just not as sturdy as a full size wand

Love this version of Chuck It beyond all before
Size: Mini
I had the longer bendable Chuck It before, well several, which broke down. They finally wouldn’t’ release the ball.
Not disparaging Chuck It.
They have been my furry puppy's favorite thing ever. I am grateful.
But what I like and think is intuitive about this smaller design is 2 things:
1. I can do a more dynamic throw.
2. There are circle holes in the Chuck It Ball that come with it that I think allow for easier release and the ball can go father.
Just my two cents.
