The kiln firing credits can be purchased in advance and used when you bring in your pieces to be fired. These are valid for members and non-members. 

The kiln firing credits will be deducted against every time you come in for a firing. See prices below. For non-members, pieces are weighed and payment or deduction of credits is due before firing.   

Please note that we do not offer firings for earthenware or porcelain. If you wish to have a different firing temperature than the one below, please contact us to rent an entire kiln. 

In order to ensure a smooth process, please follow the instructions below:

• Make sure your pieces are completely dry before you bring them in for a bisque fire
• Mark your pieces (either by carving or stamping your name)
• For a glaze fire, make sure your bottoms are completely clear of glaze. You will be responsible for damages to kiln shelves.
• We require proof that the clay and glaze are compatible with our glaze firing temperature (1240C).
• Download and fill out this form before you drop off your pieces and bring it with you to the studio.

Firing temperatures:

- Bisque: 960C

- Glaze Fire: 1240C (cone 7)

Prices:

- 7€ / kg for bisque fire. For members: 5€ /kg

- 10€/ kg for glaze fire.  For members: 8€ /kg

- Full kiln (100l): 102€ (please get in touch in advance if you wish to hire a full kiln)
