The RAM® Tab-Tite™ spring-loaded, quick release holder offers a secure fit with easy access to the mounted tablet. The interchangeable cup ends are designed specifically for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2, Tab Active3 and Tab Active5 with either the OEM case or the RAM® Skin™. The spring-loaded design makes it easy to insert and remove your tablet, while keeping it secure in a variety of applications. The custom end cups are designed to optimize the functionality of your tablet, enabling access to all buttons, ports, and tablet functions. The bottom cup intentionally exposes the power connector so if the user has a Tab Active with no battery, the tablet can be inserted and removed without disconnecting the cable. Included is a set of four nuts and bolts to attach the holder to any RAM® components that contain the universal AMPS hole pattern.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: Is the AMPS mounting location symmetrical with respect to the tablet? If I rotate the screen from portrait to landscape is it going to be offset to one side or the other? Is this a suitable mount option for an off-road motorcycle?

A: The AMPS hole pattern is positioned in the center of the holder, so when rotating between portrait and landscape mode it should stay in approximately the same position without offsetting. This is suitable for motorcycle use, however we would recommend using a C Size mount for mounting a tablet in a rough environment like this. The handlebar mount we recommend pairing this with would be the RAM-149Z-B-202U.
