The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement. This is a 3/8" x 16PT spline broach quarter turn cold-side replacement stem cartridge. Compatible with Kingston Brass LS829x, LS845xDL, and LS845xDKL faucets.

Washing is a breeze in the sink - I haven't tried in the washing machine yet, but I feel like it'd hold up. The mitt is not too thick, not too thin, product goes on smooth and even given that the material does the same with your self tanner that, say, a beauty blender would do with your foundation - it soaks up a little bit of product to make sure the overall application goes a long way, and keeps the whole surface looking smooth and even.
