Starting at its most basic with this Jazzmaster’s iconic offset profile, the base experience of this model is constituted of alder – a classic Fender tonewood choice. The alder selection shapes the double-cutaway form and makes for a solid sonic springboard and an easily-carried body. The model’s Modern “C”-shaped maple neck joins the equation and fits comfortably in hand for skillful playing across the 25.5” scale length. Meeting up with a slab rosewood fingerboard bearing a 9.5” radius and twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets, the full experience the fretting hand is streamlined and seamless for dynamic playing from higher to lower registers.
