Catena's Argentina was once recognized for its old-world style Cabernet Sauvignon from the clay-soils of Agrelo, even before the country gained recognition for its malbec. The family holds its historic Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in Agrelo and Tupungato in high regard, valued for their long-lived nature and traditional flavors. This particular wine, Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon, is made from the grapes of Lot 3 from La Pirámide vineyard, Lot 2 from Domingo vineyard, and Lot 2 from Nicasia Vineyard, and is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

Lot 3, La Piramide Vineyard, Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo (950m/3116ft). Aluvial origin. Clay topsoil with rounded rocks on the bottom. Plant selection: Selección Mendoza.

Lot 2, Domingo Vineyard, Villa Bastías, Tupungato, Valle de Uco (1120m/3674ft). Aluvial origin. Silt loamy soil with limestone on the bottom.

Lot 2, Nicasia Vineyard, Altamira, Valle de Uco (1095m/3592ft). Aluvial origin. Loamy soil, with rounded rocks on the bottom.

This particular bottle of Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a deep ruby color with hints of violet. Its bouquet features strong scents of ripe raspberries and cassis, complemented by subtle hints of pepper and cloves. The palate reveals a full-bodied and luxurious experience, showcasing layers of black currant and black raspberry, as well as notes of cedar, tobacco, and leather. The wine is elegantly structured with smooth tannins and a lengthy and enduring finish.

Good
Size: X-Large, Color: Riviera Blue, Size: X-Large, Color: Riviera Blue
I got XL which is my normal size. It’s a bit roomy which I think is exactly what I wanted for a work shirt. I wanted it to be a no tuck shirt, but it’s too long for that. I’m really disappointed there, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The sleeves are a bit long, but my arms are short, so I will modify it or roll them up, not an uncommon problem for me with shirts but it’s not too bad either. The material is soft and would be good for summer or under a jacket. Someone posted about the collar being messy and that made me nervous to get this shirt, but I have washed it once and the collar remains in good shape. It stands up properly. The wrinkleproof seems to be pretty good.

Good shirt
Size: X-Large, Color: Bel Air Blue
This is a good shirt, I’m 5’ 9” and 220 (old dad bod 50’s), it fits well and the sleeves are a good length. My only thing I don’t like and this is nit-picking: it wrinkles easy. I’m ex military so I like my shirts ironed or pressed, I get it it’s more casual, it’s just my preference. This is a comfortable shirt

Fair quality shirt
Size: Large, Color: Port Red
Decent shirt. No shirt if wrinkle-free so take these claims with a grain of salt. The fabric blend will tell you just how much it will wrinkle. If you leave it in the dryer overnight you can guarantee that even if it was made of cast iron, it would likely have a wrinkle or two. Don't be swayed by a 'label'. The same shirt can have a no-name label sewn on it. Doesn't make the shirt better or worse. It is what it is. Size runs correct. NOT a 'slim fit' shirt, fyi.
