Nathe Bits
The nathe mouthpiece has been designed for horses with sensitive, fussy or very light mouths. It can also be beneficial for young horses, or to encourage a more sensitive feel when riding. The nathe material is extremely gentle to the horse's mouth and tongue, and helps to activate salivation and softening to the contact.
Not to be confused with cheaper, plastic mouthpieces, Nathe is soft and flexible, but not as bulky as rubber.
Due to the delicate nature of the Nathe bit material, horses have been known to chew through it.
The Nathe Short Shank Weymouth is available in 13.5cm (5 1/4in) or 14.5cm (5 3/4in).
