This is a new summer juice bomb from Nicola and Daniel at Offbeat. Produced from Pinot Noir biodynamically farmed by Lucie and Jules at Ham Street, Kent in 2023, their first year of certification.
Nic and Dan wanted to work the fruit lightly, aiming for a wine of real energy and lift. The wine had a gentle two-week whole bunch maceration in fibreglass before being pressed to two old burgundy barrels for nine months. Wanting to capture its freshness, they bottled the wine in early June to the serendipitous soundtrack of Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower. All movements by gravity, unfined, unfiltered and with no additions.
