Building upon the success of its predecessor, Cold Water “A” Low-Profile reels feature a rigid diecast aluminum frame and handle side plate, ensuring unmatched strength and stability in any fishing conditions. The inclusion of a multi-disc, Carbonite drag system delivers smooth and consistent drag performance.
Key to its performance are the oversized machine-cut brass XL drive and pinion gears, which provide unparalleled strength and durability. Combined with the Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing and 3BB + 1RB stainless steel ball bearings, these reels deliver smooth and reliable operation with every cast and retrieve. Cold Water reels are also equipped with a Strike Zone mechanical line counter, allowing anglers to precisely track their line and target depths. Additionally, Clear View Technology prevents fogging on the line counter, ensuring visibility in any weather conditions.
With a 5.4:1 gear ratio available in both left and right handle retrieve, Cold Water reels offer versatility to suit individual fishing preferences. Available in both 354 and 454 sizes, Cold Water Low-Profile reels are designed for trolling, jigging, back bouncing, or float fishing and other presentations.
