WOMENS UTP Resized® (Urban Tactical Pants®) are advanced tactical pants for women, designed for shooting enthusiasts, outdoors lovers and everyday users. Made to allow you to comfortably carry essential equipment, these womens tactical pants are unobtrusive, allowing for discretion when operating in an urban environment. Each of the 12 pockets has been designed to carry magazines, a folding knife, a small first aid kit, or a multitool, leaving the user full freedom of organizing the gear. The well-thought-out design means that the carried equipment will be close to the center of mass of the body, enabling comfortable movement for many hours. Thanks to specially designed pockets on the knees, the WOMENS UTP Resized® pants can accommodate soft protectors (Low Profile Protective Pads), increasing the users safety when working in varied, uncertain terrain. Wide belt loops, allowing the use of a belt up to 50 mm wide, allow you to pair these pants with most of the tactical and work belts available on the market. Resized in the name of the product means that its size has been changed in relation to the base product, in this case, the WOMENS UTP® (URBAN TACTICAL PANTS®). We recommend that you be especially careful when choosing a size.

I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

No Answers Provided to Case Studies

The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
