Venice Connection is a canal building and tile-placement game for two players. Your goal is to complete a canal forming a closed loop.
The game consists of 16 identical tiles, each with a straight section on one side and a curve on the other. All tiles are available to both players. Each turn, you place 1 to 3 tiles in a straight line, connecting them to at least one other tile already in play (except on the first turn, where you simply begin placing tiles on the table).
If, during the game, a player notices that it is now impossible to complete the canal, they tell the opposing player (the one who played the previous turn) "impossible." The opposing player must then try to complete the canal alone. If the canal can be completed, the challenged player wins the game; otherwise, the player who issued the challenge wins!
