The Craft: Hand-carved Maple Leaf
When autumn winds blow, maple leaves shine with their own unique charm. The red leaves and flowing rivers complement each other perfectly, painting breathtaking natural scenes. This fork is carved from ebony, with a gold-colored pearl flower and a red agate center mounted at the top.
The two prongs are shaped from a single piece of wood. The flower is affixed to the end; the attachment method is not visible but feels secure.
The Ebony
Ebony is one of the densest hardwoods, with a fine, even grain that polishes to a deep black luster. It has been used for centuries in Chinese furniture and small carvings for its stability and rich color.
Expect slight variation in grain and color — these are marks of natural wood, not defects. The mother-of-pearl inlay and red agate add subtle contrast.
Fit & Care
Best for hair at least shoulder length; optimal hold for armpit to bra-strap lengths. If you have very fine or short hair, consider our short hair sticks for a better fit.
