Madrone Log Md81 4.2" x 5.2" x 7.5" 3.5 lbs. This is a bark-on Madrona log spindle that is ready for you to turn or carve. This piece was harvested from a living Pacific Madrone tree growing on San Juan Island, Washington. We manage our Madrone sustainably and prune as needed for forest health. This piece was end-grain sealed immediately after harvesting. This is a GREEN to partially air-dried blank, meaning that it retains moisture from when it was a living tree. It has been well-sealed with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It was measured at 25% moisture content in December 2023.If you need a current moisture content, please message us so that we can check its status for you. It is common for fine cracks to open as these blanks dry, despite being sealed. If you do have a visible crack, secure it with CA glue or epoxy resin prior to turning. Discounted! This piece has frass-filled bug holes in it, as you can see in the end-grain close-up. There may even be critters present! We recommend you consider a chemical or heat treatment method if you want to ensure there's nothing eating away at the wood once finished. |

Just ok . . .
Just ok - didn't really live up to the hype. You have to apply AFTER makeup for it to cover at all and even then it's just ok, plus it doesn't really last very long. Tried using it to cover bruising on forehead that wasn't all that bad to begin with, but concealer wasn't very satisfactory.

Ten Stars
I only use the left two colors but I expected that since I wasn't sure which one(s) would work. They are a great concealer of dark circles. I use the lightest one on the bottom and then touch up with the darker of the two. They don't look caked on and, in fact I can wear them alone without any foundation or powder on my face! And, they lay on top of the fine lines, hiding them somewhat. The brush is great for applying. I have tried many concealers and this is the the best by far.

Reliable protection that stays put during workouts!

I’ve tried many expensive name-brand sunscreens, but this Amazon Basics version performs just as well, if not better. It’s become my go-to for morning runs and trips to the beach because it actually stays on even when I’m sweating.
Why I gave it 5 stars:
Non-Greasy Formula: Unlike other sport sunscreens, this one absorbs quickly and doesn't leave that heavy, sticky film on my skin.
Actually Water Resistant: I’ve used it for laps in the pool and long hikes; as long as I reapply as directed, I haven't had a single sunburn.
No "Sting": One of the best things is that it doesn't run into my eyes and sting when I start to sweat—a huge plus for runners.
Great Value: You get a generous 8-ounce bottle for a fraction of the price of "premium" brands. The fact that it’s formulated without Oxybenzone is an added bonus for peace of mind.
If you’re looking for effective, no-frills sun protection for an active lifestyle, you can't beat this. It’s a staple in my gym bag now!
