Born into Gretschs Professional Collection, this Falcon features many of the brands classic specs and appointments. FilterTron pickups, a maple neck with 12 radius ebony fingerboard, an Adjusto matic bridge with an ebony base, and a Bigsby tailpiece, just to name a few.

Born into Gretsch’s Professional Collection, this Falcon features many of the brand’s classic specs and appointments. Filter’Tron pickups, a maple neck with 12” radius ebony fingerboard, an Adjusto-matic bridge with an ebony base, and a Bigsby tailpiece, just to name a few. Though similar in so many ways to its relatives, this guitar does have some defining characteristics that make it stand out from the rest.

Typically, you would find a laminated maple top on a G6136T, and a majority of Grestch models in fact. This limited Falcon sports a solid Adirondack Red Spruce top, which is commonly used on high-end acoustics. Stiff and resonant with plenty of headroom, this Addy spruce is ready to be broken in to sound even more impressive over time. Its dynamic range is greater than many of its comparable guitar tops, making it a fine pairing with this guitar’s hollow body.

In addition to its special spruce treatment, this celebratory Falcon's nitro finish is Two-Tone Stone Platinum over Pure Platinum. Double Platinum Anniversary calls for a guitar matching in color, does it not?
