But after seeing the real and unchecked Trump in action, we decided we didn't want any of that madness here, and the Coalition - more specifically, the Liberal Party - after a decade of negativity and culture warring, got their unambiguous comeuppance. While Teals-style candidates mostly held the line, the Greens took a severe beating as voters retreated into the imagined security of Albo's one-party state.
If the Trump effect caused tremors in our domestic politics, globally it set off an earthquake. In trade relations, sanctions reduced established relationships with the US - even with long-time allies - to the crudely transactional. In case we had any doubts that the US-led post-1945 rules-based-system was over, 2025 dispelled them. The moral claims of that order, always dubious, were finally - even proudly - cremated in the ruins of Gaza and Ukraine. Forget international law- might has reasserted its traditional place in the ordering of nations.

Nice BIG enameled cast iron dutch oven. like LeCreuset but costs less

This is nice quality, similar to the far more costly French LeCreuset brand. I was surprised how big this model is, possibly too big for my small kitchen and limited storage space. I store it in the oven. It would be great for baking sourdough boule bread.

Solid, heavy pot for cooking and baking. I bought it mainly for making soups, stews and breads. I have only tried soups thus far. The pot cleaned up very easily. The bottom of the pot heated uniformly. Nothing was stuck to the pot when I was simmering on the glass top stove. I have not had the chance to bake yet, but seeing how evenly it held heat while cooking, I am thinking this will be perfect. I bought the red color. It gives a nice pop of color in my kitchen. This pot will probably last me a long time. I would buy one if I needed a replacement, or a gift for someone.

Great quality for price after 3 years of use

I’m 3.5 years in and use it weekly. So far it’s been a great product especially for the price. We are really into soups, roast, and I bake bread a lot. This thing is amazing and a great quality. It’s easy to clean, does great in the oven, and stands up great to constant use. I only have a small amount of staining at the bottom, and a couple scratches from metal utensils. The lid is solid and the handle is really secure still, which is a problem I’ve had with other brands I’ve tried.
