While this special chain was made a few decades after the Industrial revolution officially ended, its influence is keenly felt in the way that it marries long trombone-meets-railroad links with delightfully detailed hardware stations that reference the inner-workings of that special watch in your pocket it was meant to secure. At 16 inches, this beauty is a great choker length for those with smaller necks, and a wonderful base for a mixed-chain neck stack for those who prefer a looser fit. One of her former custodians modified the dog clip into a hook rather than a traditional clip. We have left it that way because we were surprised to find it easier to fasten on these links than a clip, well-balanced and very secure. That said, we'd be happy to switch it out for a more traditional dog clip if you prefer.
